These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Chirpt AI assistant service and the chirpt.me website, operated by Chirpt ("we," "us," "our"). By using our service, you agree to these Terms.
Service Description
Chirpt provides AI-powered personal assistant services via phone calls and text messages. Our AI assistants (Tom and Lara) can make daily calls, send and receive texts, set reminders, perform web searches, and manage tasks on your behalf.
AI Disclosure
Chirpt assistants are artificial intelligence. They are not human. Conversations are generated by AI language models. While our assistants strive to be helpful and accurate, they may occasionally make mistakes. You should verify important information independently.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Chirpt. By signing up, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Consent to Communications
By opting in to Chirpt, you provide your Prior Express Written Consent to receive:
- Automated and AI-generated phone calls
- Text messages (SMS and MMS)
at the phone number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase — you may use inbound calling features without opting in to outbound communications.
Opting Out
You may revoke consent at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any text message (also accepted: QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE)
- Telling your assistant during a call (e.g., "stop calling me")
- Contacting us at support@chirpt.me
Opt-out requests are honored immediately. After opting out, you will receive no further outbound calls or texts. You may still call your assistant at any time. To re-subscribe, text START or contact us.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service
- Impersonate another person when communicating with the service
- Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others
Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and technology associated with Chirpt are our property or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our service without permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Chirpt is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service. Our AI assistants may provide incorrect or incomplete information.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chirpt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Pricing and Billing
- Free tier: Limited features at no cost
- Paid tiers: Billed monthly at the rates listed on chirpt.me
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
